Key Responsibilities 🚀 1. Technology Strategy & Roadmapping
- Define multi-year IT strategy covering networks, cloud, security, endpoint management, collaboration systems, and operational tooling.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that modernise infrastructure, reduce technical debt, and improve operational resilience.
- Evaluate emerging enterprise technologies such as zero-trust networks, AI-driven IT automation, and edge computing for global rollout.
- Lead teams managing networking, storage, compute, virtualisation, and cloud environments.
- Oversee global operations centres responsible for uptime, monitoring, incident response, and service continuity.
- Ensure systems meet or exceed performance targets for availability, latency, and stability.
- Partner with security teams to enforce identity and access governance, endpoint protection, patch compliance, and secure configuration standards.
- Drive adoption of zero-trust frameworks and automated threat-detection tooling.
- Lead audits, disaster-recovery planning, and business continuity strategy across all IT services.
- Own the end-to-end employee IT experience—hardware distribution, helpdesk workflows, onboarding tech, and collaboration tools.
- Introduce automation and self-service systems to reduce friction and increase employee productivity.
- Champion accessibility, usability, and consistency across all workplace platforms.
- Manage multimillion-pound technology budgets, ensuring responsible capacity planning and cost optimisation.
- Lead procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor governance for enterprise systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, HR, security, finance, legal, and executive teams to align IT operations with company-wide goals.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams across multiple global regions.

- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, security operations, or enterprise technology management.

- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise networks, identity systems, device management, and ITSM frameworks.
- Experience managing significant budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance obligations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical realities into executive-friendly insights.
- Experience implementing zero-trust architecture at scale.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments, container orchestration, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA (depending on industry).
